Within the framework of project activities – on different clients on domains such as Manufacturing and Retail based on SAP platform - you will be integrated into the CGI project management team and will be involved in project management missions.

For our office in Milan we are looking for a SAP Senior Technical Consultant.

Your job will be to use the ABAP programming language with the aim of intervening on the code, creating functions that optimize or adapt business processes, allowing customization of SAP and providing assistance to the reference division.

Your future duties and responsibilities You will be part of the ICT team dealing with: - Carry out the necessary ABAP interventions by assisting the reference areas, - Maintain existing solutions, arranging the related functional tests, - Collaborate with other team members to define and implement functional requirements, - Analysis of application problems and technical resolutions, - Writing technical documentation and project specifications, - Management of software implementations - Continuous support to project contacts for activities relating to assessments of feasibility studies regarding new needs, availability of new features/releases/products of interest for the business and for the quality of the service provided Required qualifications to be successful in this role Skills and Organizational requirements: - Good knowledge (3+ years) of ABAP, ABAP OO programming language (eg: BAPI, BADI, Batch input, Idoc, Workflow, Web service, Smartform, Enhancement, ABAP for HANA. . . ), - Ability to understand functional specifications on SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, SM modules, - Knowledge of SAP integration Suite and SAP Fiori/UI5, - Knowledge of English language (at least B1), - Capability to support teams in functional and technical requirements with the Client and internally - Be able to transfer the knowledge base within accurate and clear documentation, both functional and technical, - Drive the Client towards the most efficient solution for them and CGI, - Spirit of collaboration and ability to work as a team, also supporting junior resources, - Analytical approach.

Nice to have: - Knowledge of javascript and java languages, - Experience with web and web service technologies, Experience within the Automotive/Manufacturing/Retail industry.
