We are looking for an SAP Architect/Basis Administrator to work at our clients premises in Frascati, Italy. The key individual will provide oversight to, and hands on, configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system. This position is also responsible for the development and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to operation and support of the SAP environment covering change management, including backup/restore, disaster recovery, audit and in conjunction with the hosting team maintenance of the technical infrastructure reference documents such as technical architecture, interface references. Tasks and ActivitiesThe scope of work will include:

A university degree in a relevant field (Informatics, Computer Science or similar) or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge of NetWeaver, Java systems and Fiori. Experience in database administration. Experience in UNIX/Linux administration. Knowledge of EDI, EAI concepts, tools and integration. Knowledge of Backup and Recovery tools, processes and procedures. Experience in installation, upgrade and Migration. Knowledge of the full-lifecycle implementations of SAP. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

The following skills would be highly desirable:

Four to six years strong technical skills in implementation and support of SAP ECC SAP S/4 Hana, SAP. Solution Manager (Solman) management. In possession of SAP basis certificate.
