Within the Global Central Function Transformation, we are looking for a
IT SAP BUSINESS ANALYST - MANUFACTURING The candidate will join our SAP Center of Expertise in HQ. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to Manufacturing, Production Planning, and integration with MES applications as a plus.
This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to optimize and enhance our SAP systems for manufacturing processes in support of our Digital Transformation Program. Responsibilities: SAP Configuration for Manufacturing:Lead the functional definition of the Manufacturing processes. Support configure and customize SAP modules related to Manufacturing, including SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP QM (Quality Management), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP PPDS (Production Schedule) is a plus. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for SAP requests. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation for development and configuration. Collaborate with key stakeholders and Application and Maintenance support team to accelerate issue resolutions. Testing and Quality Assurance:Plan and execute testing for SAP projects and enhancements including unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP configurations. Training and User Support:Provide training and support to end-users on SAP, ensuring a smooth adoption of new functionalities. Act as a point of contact for manufacturing users, addressing inquiries and issues related to SAP. Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on SAP and MES industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the manufacturing domain. Main requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or equivalent experience. +3 years' experience as SAP Business Analyst with a focus on Manufacturing and Quality working on projects or within a level 2 application support team. Strong understanding of SAP modules (PP, MM, QM). Knowledge of Manufacturing, Operations and Supply chain processes in Automotive is a plus. Experience with integration with MES or IoT solutions is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence a broad mix of people in related skill bases and drive to consensus. Ready to embrace new challenges with a proactive and open-minded attitude. Enthusiastic about continuous learning and personal growth. Excellent knowledge of English in speaking and writing. Willingness to travel. 6 - 12 Months Expectations: Take ownership and full responsibility of the new business demand in the manufacturing domain. Proactively support a fully functional IT organization with a focus on optimizing the engagement of the Application and Maintenance Support team. Contribute to a fully functional integrated Global / Regional Center of Expertise. Be recognized as a Domain Expert by Process Owners.
