Sap It Business Analyst - Supply Chain / Ewm
The group AluK is a global leader in the design and engineering of aluminium window, door and curtain walling systems.
With more than sixty years of expertise and operations in major countries around the globe, our building systems have been specified for many of the world's most advanced and prestigious buildings.
Role AluK has developed an SAP Template system based on the SAP S/4HANA Private Extended Cloud edition, which it wants to use to replace legacy ERP systems currently in use in our different business units.
To help support the template roll out of this Corporate SAP S/4HANA system, we are looking for an SAP Supply Chain Specialist to join the AluK IT SAP competence center Team.
The Supply Chain area encompasses the following SAP processes Warehouse Management Production Management Inventory Management Manufacturing Execution Logistics & Distribution Management Quality Management With this focus on the supply chain modules, you will work on supporting and advising the business in their further improvements to the business process design and implementation activities.
Of all the SAP modules you will have impact on, the EWM module is the most important as it integrates very closely with all other modules that support production, planning, quality, ….

The EWM module allows us to increase this efficiency, both when migrating from legacy ERP systems as well as in those business units that already use SAP as their ERP backbone Next to being responsible for the operational support of the SAP S4HANA system, you will be using a proactive and agile approach to analyse business requirements and suggest the most ideal solution using the SAP clean core mindset.
The IT SAP competence center will work with internal clients to improve their ability to react on a continuously changing digital world, enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation and modernize core systems to reimagine the business model with SAP digital solutions.
Responsibilities Actively seek at finding help to fully understand the details of the Business Processes related to the whole Supply Chain, and have a good understanding of how these impact the other business processes of the company Identify improvements & solutions that can help shape the future of Aluk Ability to map Business Processes to SAP technologies and best practices.
Write Functional documentation where an understanding of technical specification & configuration documents are a plus Work together with our SAP implementation partner for externalized development work Do minor to medium SAP4HANA system configurations Review documentation Support and lead tasks in an agile way Provide support to user requests & incidents Identify key drivers to define a problem and proposes solutions Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of clients' issues Help and advise in selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific internal client requirements contribute to continuous development of methods and tools Demonstrate accountability and contributions to the successful realization of the group IT goals Profile A minimum of bachelor's degree in either IT, Business, Engineering English and Italian are a must.
Any other European language will be a strong asset, in particular, Dutch or French.
A minimum of 3 years of experience of working in an SAP environment.
Experience acquired through involvement into international projects and support activities will be a strong plus.
A proven experience in working in a discrete manufacturing environment, preferably multi-sites and international.
A proven experience in S/4 HANA will be a strong added value.
Comprehensive knowledge of the SAP Supply Chain Management, particularly of the EWM module.
Knowledge of PP, APO, MM, TM and QM modules is a plus.
Knowledge of ABAP and or FIORI development is a plus Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to consult with senior leadership and influence without authority.
Self-directed and organized; able to manage responsibilities for multiple, simultaneous initiatives Outstanding communication skills: ability to deliver information in clear, concise, and relevant manner both in a written and oral format Strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Open to periodic travel, approximately once per month, to visit and support production facilities located in France, United Kingdom, Italy, and Belgium.
Preferred Skills Possess expert and comprehensive knowledge of the principles and techniques of systems analysis, design, development, testing, and program documentation in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and techniques of developing/analyzing requirements, conducting systems analysis, developing/analyzing functional designs, performing/documenting integration testing, and developing program documentation Experience preparing functional design document for RICEFW objects Experience performing business process analysis, mapping, and design.
Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis Experience developing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques Testing experience in all phases: System, Integration, and Performance Testing and ensuring traceability Nice to have: knowledge of SAP PM, SAP PEO knowledge of Manufacturing Execution module and hands-on knowledge of interfacing with external MES and automatic warehouses.
