ABB is seeking a IS Solution Architect with a technical background in to support projects and implementations in the countries part of the Italian cluster.

Wide area of responsibility, working on many SAP systems as technology specialist, with a lot of interactions with other local and global teams for local / global projects and initiatives. This position reports toGlobal IS Department Mgr, ERP GCCYour responsibilitiesTake responsibility for the design and build SAP custom solutions and maintain the integrity and quality of SAP solutions and of integrated IS service. Create and maintain the technical and architectural documentation of the solutions. Perform internal test and support users test if neededDrive the change of the ABB team to look more to new technologies and solution design approaches. Proactively support the installation, management, maintenance and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS solutions/services. Support the Application Run Organization in the incident and problem resolution when technical verification is required. Understand Business processes high level and provide expert advice.

Guide and monitor task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice normally without carryingline responsibility.

Coordinate with other functional and technical SAP Consultants and with other Applications SMEs for Integration solutions. Your backgroundBachelor's degree in Computer science or a similar discipline and at least 5 years of experience as SAP Solution Architect and ABAP language developer, better if in the same business sector of ABB. Technical skills:

strong ABAP language skills, SAP ECC integration technologies:

IDOCs, BAPI, integration frameworks with Microsoft technologies (e. g.

:

SAP. Net Connector), API & web services. Quality assurance of custom programs through dedicated tools such as CAST or Virtual Forge as part of the delivery process. Knowledge of SAP PI / PO technologies, of functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM and PP modules and familiarity with S/4 HANA is a plus as well as SAP lifecycle management experience will e considered a plus. Fluent English and Italian, both written and spokenAvailability to travel occasionally in Italian or to European ABB locations. Good communications skills, ability to explain technical information to non-technical people, proactivity, teamwork skills, problem solving and result orientation will complete your profile.
