You're interested in a role as a HR Technology Architect because you love cutting edge cloud technology.
You want to unlock value for SAP's customers with your technical knowledge and communicate a deep understanding of how deployment of the right technology solution can positively impact people and organisations.
The **HXM Technology Architect** (HTA) is part of a global presales team that works to support sales efforts and customers by clearly articulating how SuccessFactors Technology delivers business value and differentiates our solutions in the market.
The HTA will support business outcomes for our customers, based on delivering insights into leading practices around how SuccessFactors Technology enables business transformation with integrations, extensibility, compliance and security.
They evaluate customer requirements considering business processes and map requirements to a technical solution architecture.
The HTA will report to the Global Vice President HXM Technology Architecture, the scope will be mainly EMEA South (Southern Europe, Africa, Middle East), with opportunities to support customers at a global level.
**For this, they**:
- Identify the appropriate solution portfolio options and recommendations
- Identify solution gaps and develop gap closure options
- Support sales efforts with account strategy, deal execution, and customer presentations
**Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Work cross functionally and consult with many SAP presales teams, including the SuccessFactors team and other SAP Lines of Business Teams
- Build personal customer relationships and support Account Executives in detailed customer (solution) discovery discussions
- Engaged throughout the customer sales engagement lifecycle as integral member of the account engagement team
- Analyze and validate the client's IT and business requirements, considering where applicable business strategy and business drivers, relevant industry trends, key pain points, challenges and priorities
- Identify and document solution gaps and gap closure options
- Document, present and discuss the end-to-end architecture and solution options, recommendations and implications
- Partner with the customer to document requirements and communicate with the implementation team to ensure execution against strategy
- Identify/mitigate risks and vulnerabilities related to the functional and technical requirements
**Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 10+ years direct related work experience related to large scale solutions
- 3+ years implementation experience delivering one or more Successfactors and/or SAP cloud solutions, or competitor solution HCM projects.
- Previous Presales, Consulting, Technical Architecture or Enterprise (or comparable roles) experience desirable
- Proficient in multiple technical products/solutions including integration, architecture, extensibility, and security
- Understanding of Cloud SaaS principles and Enterprise Architecture experience desirable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels in the customer's organization (i. e.
IT, HR, Line of Business Stakeholders, Executives)
- Strong technical and business acumen
