We are currently looking for a Scientific Affairs Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy.
In this role, you will bring your strong knowledge and expertise, acting as a scientific advisor to the sales team and our Key Opinion Leaders.
Key responsibilities
Promote scientific activities in field (poster, workshop, etc. . . ) in order to differentiate Beckman Diagnostics portfolio in the market;
Train the Sales force and Field Specialists, both in field and in-house;
**Handle Technical Speech to customers (2° level**: NPI, other method correlation, clinicians etc. . . );
Organize customer Workshops, teaming up with the Marketing & Communication department for speakers monitoring and support
Support NPI / Launch;
Maintain the Scientific literature general database as well as the Tender literature database
**Key Requirements**:
Scientific educational background (Biology, Biomedical Engineering, CTF, Medicine. . . ).
A PhD is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience as a Scientific Affairs Specialist or similar (Field Application Specialist, Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate. . . ), preferably in the IVD Industry.
Clinical trials management expertise would be a big plus.
Proficient English is mandatory
Willing to travel between 50-75% at a Country Level (and abroad, when needed).
A valid driving licence is required.
Knowledge of the market and ability to optimally interact with the KOLs to maintain and improve our network
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and build consensus
Ability to work autonomously, with mínimal guidance, using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services and bring new perspectives using existing solutions
