We are looking for a Scientific Assistant in the Food Additives and Flavourings area.

esperienza 1 anno Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level); Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Technology or related areas; At least 1 year of relevant working experience in collecting and collating evidence, writing and reviewing scientific documents, analyzing and interpreting data with statistics; Working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.

Assignment: initial contract of 2 months, with possibility of extension.

Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary: approx.

€2233 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.

Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.

Provide support to the Food Ingredients and Packaging unit in areas related to chemistry and specifications, in particular with respect to the preparatory work leading to the development of scientific outputs for the different teams working with the Food Additives and Flavourings Panel.

Collecting and collating data from scientific databases; Undertaking literature searches and reviews on selected scientific topics; Providing editorial support, including aligning of draft opinions with standard formats; Performing dietary exposure calculations; Contribute to drafting of preparatory background information; Writing of meeting minutes; Contribute to timely and effective planning to meet priorities and deadlines within the work programme of the Unit.
