We are looking for a Scientific Assistant in the Food Contact Materials area.

Responsabilit Collecting and collating data from scientific databases and from literature, Support Scientific officers with the production of scientific reports and opinions, Collaboration with Scientific officers to ensure adherence to timelines for mandate evaluation, publication and correspondence, Support the organisation of meetings with external experts, drafting agenda and taking minutes, Preparing and attending meetings with external stakeholders, Support the activities related to document public consultation.

Functie-eisen Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level), Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Chemistry or Toxicology, Experience in drafting scientific/academic reports in formal English, At least 6 months of relevant working experience in one of the following areas: chemistry, food safety, toxicology, chemical risk assessment, Knowledge of EU regulations and/or procedures applicable to the evaluation of Food Contact Materials is to be considered an asset, Working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.

Assignment: initial contract 2 months, with possibility of extensions.

Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary: approx €2145 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.

remote work is possible within 2 hours from parma, italy for the remaining days.
