IIT has recently launched the Technologies for Healthy Living (THL) flagship initiative.

This ambitious program aims to drive groundbreaking interdisciplinary research in health technologies, integrating cutting-edge developments in AI, robotics, and nano/bio-technology.

THL involves approximately 30 IIT Research Unitsand brings together a diverse team of multidisciplinary researchers working collaboratively to address some to the most pressing challenges in healthcare.

**THE ROLE

The THL flagship is seeking a Scientific Project Manager that will have a key research role on planning, managing, monitoring and implementing all the activities necessary for the successful completion of internal and external projects for which IIT is the Coordinator. Part of the activities will be managing relations with all the THL flagship partners and supporting the Coordinators in charge of the program and the Principal Investigators involved in.

You will work closely to the scientists to help them to carry out their scientific activity, interact with stakeholders, acquire funds and manage external communications and dissemination.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

- Supporting the coordinators in managing the consortium, overseeing the overall work plan, and monitoring deliverables, milestones, and objectives of the work packages.

- Monitoring scientific, technical, and financial progress, and assisting principal investigators in proposing adjustments to enhance project efficiency.

- Supporting coordinators and principal investigators in tracking project tasks, ensuring they are executed and completed according to the project plan.

- Gathering, reviewing, and submitting technical and financial reports.

- Organizing meetings (proposing decisions, setting the agenda, recording minutes) and tracking the implementation of meeting decisions.

- Overseeing and coordinating communication and dissemination activities, exploitation plans, and planned activities.

- Supporting with data management planning and supervising related tasks.

- Seeking funding agencies to support the flagship program, in coordination with proposing principal investigators and IIT offices (such as the Project Office), thereby streamlining the request process and fund acquisition.

- Managing intellectual property rights issues, including the rules specified in the consortium agreement.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- PhD or Master's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or similar disciplines.

- Experience in project management, particularly in a scientific or technical environment.

- Proven ability to navigate the complexities of interdisciplinary research and foster collaboration across diverse scientific fields.

- Proficiency in communication, especially in dissemination activities.

- Strong communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in information gathering.

- Familiarity with essential IT software, including Word and Excel.

- Collaborative approach with stakeholders.

- Precision and strong analytical skills.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
