Scientific Trainer
We are looking for a passionate and competent Scientific Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a scientific degree. This position requires solid scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer support attitude. Role Summary: The Scientific Trainer role is responsible for one or more brands, Business Unit (BU), or Therapeutic Area (TA). The role involves providing product and customer engagement skills training to new and existing Field Force colleagues, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to represent Pfizer effectively. The role also includes acting as a strategic partner to brand leadership, understanding BU needs, and delivering training services to support brand launches and ongoing training needs. Key Interactions: BU Leads, Sales Managers, Marketing and Medical Managers, District Managers, Sales Representatives. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary representative of the Customer Engagement Training organization, acting as a strategic partner to brand leadership. Define training priorities for the sales team in collaboration with BU business and brand leadership. Develop strong relationships with Business Unit Partners and collaborate closely with various teams to prioritize training needs. Responsible for the development, translation, localization, and approval of learning journeys and training curricula. Utilize learning technology and manage training courses using Pfizer-endorsed platforms. Oversee the certification process for customer-facing colleagues according to CET core standards and local regulatory requirements. Lead the program management, development, and execution of training programs. Deliver skills related to effective customer engagement for our brands. Oversee multi-modal learning resources and conduct engaging training sessions. Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues throughout their training journey. Collaborate with the wider Global Customer Engagement Training teams to provide local training content needs. Key Requirements: Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer support. Willingness to travel extensively. Scientific degree, preferably in pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry, or a related field. Strong track record of success for a minimum of 3 years in a related role. Excellent training delivery, presentation, and facilitation skills. Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. Passion for innovation and proficiency in MS Office and digital competencies. English language competency and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
