In this role you will be responsible for the procurement of direct materials ensuring the agreed delivery dates with suppliers and the quality of the delivered products according to the drawings or to the agreed specs.

**Purchase components**:

based on the car development program agreed with the technical management.

**Create purchase orders**:

ensuring compliance with delivery times, component quality and costs.

**Examine offers and agree on purchase prices**:

negotiate the terms of supply contracts, manage the fulfilment of orders and supply contracts.

**Monitor purchasing needs**:

considering production planning and stock levels.

It will be the guarantor of the control of delivery times.

**Research and select new suppliers**:

by evaluating their capacity, reliability in deliveries, production characteristics and costs.

**Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, **:

both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.

**Always work in a professional manner**:

regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors.

**Your areas of knowledge and expertise**:

- Bachelor's Degree (Degree in Engineering is preferred).

- 2-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in Motorsport, Automotive or Automation field.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

- Deep knowledge of Mechanical Design and components, such as titanium, aluminium.

- Solid decision making and negotiating skills.

- Flexibility and ability to work in a team.

- Resilience and ability to work under pressure.

- Strong ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.

- Team playing skills with a 'œcan do' attitude.
