Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We want you as a talented SecOps Engineer to help us in our mission by building up and enhancing the security measures that protect the company. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze security systems and logs for potential threats Strengthen security configurations across the IT environment Document security incidents and create detailed reports Develop and implement security policies and procedures Develop and maintain security-related documentation to support organizational readiness and compliance Identify vulnerabilities through assessments and ensure timely remediation through patch management and other controls Manage identity and access management (IAM) systems, ensuring adherence to least privilege principles What we would love to see from you Hands-on experience with Wazuh for log analytics and threat detection Experience in log onboarding to Wazuh Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection Extensive analytical skills with the ability to investigate and mitigate complex security incidents One of the two: A bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or a related field Two years of experience in IT security operations Experience with vulnerability scanners is a plus Why you should join us What makes us special here at The Exploration Company and why we think you will enjoy working here is: We're Agile - we make decisions fast whilst keeping our goals and systems in mind We're Open and Collaborative - we are transparent about risks and obstacles, so that we can cooperate to overcome them We have a lot of Fun - we refuel our energy knowing we are democratising space.
