Sector Manager
Job Description
The W&P Sector Manager will act as the leader of the sales team in Italy and Turkey to drive and execute the W&P markets sales delivery.
Work collaboratively with other end markets colleagues and functions within Countries such as Operations, Engineering, Strategy, Services etc.
Responsible for leading the team to drive and execute the End Market business plan to deliver Growth+ for Rotork.
Reporting to the Head of Sales of W&P, in this role you will be responsible for:
Delivering sales against agreed targets for sector.
Using Value Added Selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
Account development planning of sector to drive long term growth.
Accountability of P&L for sector.
Resolving sales and resource escalations in Sector.
Ensuring accurate and transparent sales forecasting across sector.
Supporting strategic and operational excellence across different channels.
Customer ownership through team to drive excellent customer relationships.
This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically and has the willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays included.
Responsible for the Sale strategy & Delivery, direct customer ownership and sales activity; supporting, managing and coaching sales teams to drive:
Customer penetration.
Profitability.
End to end sales leadership across product portfolio.
Experience Requirements:
Degree or similar recognized qualification in Engineering or Finance / Accounting.
5 to 7 years' experience as senior sales experience in manufacturing (industrial engineering ideal).
Experience of leading a team.
Knowledge and experience of sales techniques.
Ready to travel nationally and internationally as required.
Fluent English.
