Security & Facility Site Manager

Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain.
The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world.
Italy is the Group's Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
Security & Facility Site Manager supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
Oversees staff that installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
Security & Facility Site Manager keeps the facility running efficiently by overseeing both personnel and equipment.
Security & Facility Site Manager must find new ways of managing their facilities that reduce costs and improve efficiency, productivity and safety and also must coordinate and integrate the activities of all operational systems within the facility for seamless efficiency.
Security & Facility Site Manager is also able to schedule, manage, report and follow up assigned activities such as FM projects.

Key Accountabilities and Tasks:
General
- **Being able to complete tasks efficiently and without very close supervision
- **Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and other specific programming**:
- **Ensuring that a safe and equitable environment exists at all times for the whole site**:
- **Coordinate activities of assigned staff; determine staff and plan work schedule (if any)**:
- **Define the materials to Purchase and maintain inventory where necessary**:
- **Adhere to a function within all established safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations including assuring all aspects of a safe work environment for employees, customers and more in general to all externals**:
- **Oversee subcontracted workforce related to FM**:
- **Review and analyse reports; may make recommendations based on reports**:
- **Ensure the proper use and care of equipment**:
- **Assist with budget preparation including project budgets**:
- **Administer preventative maintenance/maintenance program, schedule maintenance and shutdowns supervising technicians and relevant assigned Companies**:
- **Prepare Purchase Requests**:
- **Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology and so on**:
- **Waste management and related documentations**:
- **Coordinate the local car fleet distribution in collaboration with local Office boy and the Fleet Management Supervisor**:
- **Helping businesses to relocate to new offices and/or to reallocate people with new internal layouts**:
- **Allocating and managing space inside and outside the Thales buildings**:
- **Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness**:
- **Take responsibility for all keys that access all doors in each facility**:
- **Responsible to manage the energy efficiency of the site providing appropriate reporting**:
- **Manage TVCC, Alarm and Access control systems, relative needed reporting and maintenance**:
- **Prepare and update the procedures and Operative Instructions relevant to FM and Security**:
**Skills**:
Essential
- To work autonomously and make informed decisions
- Organisation, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
- Ability to work and produce required information within tight timescales
- Goof knowledge of Autocad
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate pro-active engagement with all levels within projects to drive and promote leadership and behavioural change
- Ability to standardize good practices and lessons learnt
- A good knowledge of IT environment
- Understanding of infrastructures
**Experience**:
Essential
- 5 years previous experience in facility management
Desirable
- Good knowledge of safety management systems and environmental requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, 50001 and ISO 45001
