**Job Description**:
What's it all about?
The Security and Identity Products group does the ideation, creation, commercialization and optimization of Visa's Risk solutions.
With the European PSD2 directive, authenticating identity has become more critical than ever.
The Risk Products team is developing a suite of identity and authentication services and driving growth across our risk product portfolio.
For that purpose, the Visa Europe team works collaboratively across functions to deliver an excellent user experience with Strong Customer Authentication.
The role requires the execution of strategies to grow Risk Products market share amongst the Italian issuers, acquirers, merchants, payment gateways and processors.
It is essential to understand the clients' risk management strategies and how they are aligned with their business priorities, for both the authentication and the authorization processes.
It is also required to have knowledge of the 3DS protocol (from EMVCo) for secure electronic commerce and its new version, EMV 3DS.
The position reports to the Lead of Security & Identity Products for the Southern Europe cluster, who is based in Madrid (Spain).
What we expect of you, day to day.
- Deploy Risk products across different use cases and all stakeholders (issuers, acquirers, payment gateways, merchants and processors), both remotely and on-site
- Review and optimize our clients' (financial institutions, merchants) risk management activities, including risk rules in the authorization and in the authentication
- You will be supporting clients in EMV 3DS implementation projects, managing relevant work streams and ensuring efficient resolution of issues with Visa colleagues
- Share with our internal and external partners acquired knowledge around fraud prevention and Visa Risk solutions
- Gather and document specific market requirements (infrastructure, regulatory, etc. )
and feed them to the cluster and hub Product teams
- Rapidly learn about Visa data platforms to collect meaningful data and analyse it to connect the dots
- When required, support other Southern Europe markets (Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Turkey) in all the above
**Qualifications**:
What we're after
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Consultative experience
- Proven project management experience
- Experience implementing tools and processes
- Knowledge of fraud prevention and secure electronic commerce ecosystem
- Willing to spend at least 75% of the time on-site with clients
- High energy, self-motivated team player
- Exceptional communicator - effective in interacting and building relationships across all levels of Visa and client organizations.
Able to adapt communication strategies to the needs of their audience (e. g. , simplifying complex technical messages)
- Strong problem-solving skills - able to analytically break down problems into a solution
- Fluency in Italian and excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Ideally, experience of fraud prevention and risk rules management in the payments industry
