Segment Marketing Manager Dairy F&B Europe
The mandate
Act as shadow General Manager of the Segment, driving the plan to grow & protect the business (sales + OI) in the short, medium & long term. The Segment Marketing Manager will deliver marketing initiatives within the F&B Division in Europe, being responsible for the ultimate performance results of the given Segment(s). Within this role, you will directly deliver profitable sales growth by creating and implementing strategies and plans that differentiate Ecolab from its competitors.
**Main responsibilities & KPIs
- Design + plan + execute actions to deliver business growth in the given Segment.
- Build + execute Innovation development to secure future competitiveness and margin improvement. KPIs: 80-100% Credibility Index; 10-20% Vitality Index (all on specific segment innovation programs)
- Develop customer interactions & relationship towards better understanding of needs & opportunities. KPIs: 15+ customer interactions with Corporate Accounts in your segment every year.

Peers: 3x Senior Marketing Manager (2x Segment, 1x Country)
Key Collaborators:
- Segment Team (under your leadership) : 1x Sales, 1x Finance, 2x Technical Excellence, 1x RDE, 1x PLM
- Marketing: 8 x Country Marketing Managers (executing strategy, pricing and margin improvement at country level)
- Sales: 1x AVP Corporate Accounts; 8x Country AVPs
- Innovation: RDE Leader Europe + RDE Global + Global Marketing
**What Profile is best set to succeed in this mandate?
**Professional experience
- 5 years+ of B2B experience - interacting with Sales, RDE, Supply Chain/Operations;
- Experienced in defining strategies and managing short + medium + long term streams of actions to grow the business and the future pipeline;
- Analytical skills combined with an inquisitive nature, strong learning agility, and a proactive hands-on approach;
- Experienced in Sales-cycle, customer management and pipeline build up;
- Has a value-oriented (not cost) mindset;
- 3+ interacting with customers in the Industrial B2B sector.

- Able to lead, not only manage - inspire, influence and drive surrounding team to achieve common goals and stay engaged on the tasks;

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Comfortable with technical conversations, able to translate technicalities into customer value
- Socially and emotionally savvy - understands and correlates well with anyone, adapts to the stakeholders on the table, displaying professionalism and managing emotions (own and surroundings);
- Willing to travel across Europe (at own pace / as per business needs)
- Values personal time and has a proactive approach to work-life-balance management
