**The job**:
Discover impactful work as our new Segment Marketing Manager where you will be responsible for determining and implementing the EMEA marketing strategy for one of our key channels, Fisher Scientific.
Your marketing efforts and strategies will help us to sell our broad portfolio of laboratory products to our customers in laboratory and scientific research.
You will actively engage with our teams across Thermo Fisher and product suppliers in order to develop and deploy the strategy, grow new market opportunities and drive the base business.
We are pleased to offer the role as **fully remote** (working from home), based anywhere in Europe.
Some international travel may be required - c. 10% per annum, including overnight stays.
**What will you do?
- Lead the development of the European Annual Marketing Segment Strategy in collaboration with Sales, Business Development and Portfolio Management; partner with Marketing leadership to develop a resource plan in AOP to support the strategies
- Proactively develop marketing campaigns and commercial programs to deliver profitable revenue growth for the Fisher Scientific channel.
Respond to market dynamics, competitor developments and customer needs/expectations to deliver on the Fisher Scientific channel value proposition
- Conduct market segment and customer analysis, market research, developing, coordinating and implementing marketing campaigns and programs through all relevant channels (e. g.
sales, digital marketing, social, SEM, events, etc) in order to allow us to deliver meaningful results
- Align customer requirements with the capabilities of Thermo Fisher Scientific in order to deliver a differentiated segment value proposition represented by a portfolio of products and services
- Coordinate communication to Sales and customers in order to allow them to understand how our products and solutions will enable innovation and productivity
- Closely partner with Sales in order to understand customer needs and provide the necessary support to drive contract implementation
**Who we are looking for**:
- A degree in a Life Science, with time spent in a laboratory
- Several years' marketing experience building and deploying multi/omni-channel marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical research, development and/or manufacturing is of particular interest
- Fluent in English, ability to speak additional European languages a plus
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, experience with MS Access is advantageous
- Ability to translate customer requirements into practical tools
- A customer focused attitude and commercial savvy
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility with priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel within the EMEA region, estimated 10% travel per annum
- Full driving licence
