He/She will autonomously handle the Month-End Closure Accounting process, prepare Financial Statements in compliance with IFRS accounting standards, Italian GAAPs, and Group policies, ensuring adherence to the deadlines set by the VF Group Calendar, and manage requests from External Auditors.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: • Monthly preparation of the financial statement in line of the principle of IAS/IFRS;

• Execution, Coordination and Approval of Accruals Journals;

• Accrual verification and reconciliation of GL Accounts for all material amounts;

• Manage relationship with External Auditors autonomously and providing data required on time;

• Preparation and discussion of FS and other documentation with Board of Statutory; Auditors (Management Report, Explanatory Notes, Financial Statement);

• Preparation of payments through F24;

• Intercompany Reconciliations;

• Payroll postings and reconciliations;

• High standards of integrity;

• Support other team members and offer help when other's deadlines are looming;

• Compliance: Reviewer for controls in Cadency (Reconciliation Tool for GL Accounts) and management of Approvers definition;

• Preparation of Mid-Year and Year End Certifications;

• Support on topics related to correct Accounting Treatment, directly interacting with other Departments;

Core competencies, knowledge and experience: • Experience in Accounting Department consolidating Financial Statement;

• A plus experience in Audit Firms;

• SAP knowledge;

• Excel knowledge;

• Proactivity and good relationship skills.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: • Accounting or similar studies background;

• Economics degree is preferred;

• At least 5 years of experience in the same role in a structured company;

• Good Business English knowledge.
