You'll be part of a team of more than 25 people focused on industrial communication and automation IC design.
Our team's mission is to design integrated circuits (ICs) for various industrial applications, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial sensor communication, process control, building automation, and industrial interface products. We are primarily looking for candidates having 3-4 years of experience in Analog design in a Semiconductor company, demonstrating experience with the design flow from concept definition, design, evaluation/debug, engineering phase, and release of the product to the market. Your role will involve working with a broader team, including digital designers, verification designers, layout engineers, test engineers, and other technical professionals located offshore. We are searching for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn and improve skills in analog circuit design.
Collaboration within the team is essential, and you will be working alongside designers with over fifteen years of experience and even more junior designers than you, offering a great learning opportunity and mentoring too. In our work environment, we value independence and encourage individual contributions.
We're looking for intelligent individuals who want to become increasingly self-reliant.
Communication and the initiative to find solutions are highly encouraged in our daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include:Designing and simulating circuits at the transistor level from individual blocks to the overall hierarchical level. Good knowledge of semiconductor device operation and their reliability limits. Use and create models for chip-level simulations to improve simulation capabilities in DMS and AMS environment. Good knowledge of A/D partitioning principles and techniques. Overseeing analog layout and chip layout in general. Participating in chip floor planning and packaging design. Actively participate in team discussions during the definition of the chip architecture. Writing technical documentation. Conducting lab evaluations and product validation. Actively contribute and/or lead the debug of the product to the design of the fix. Supporting the development of production tests to ensure successful product delivery. Requirements for this role include:A strong understanding of electronics concepts and the ability to apply them to solve design challenges. Familiarity with the operation of analog circuits and basic knowledge of digital design. Past 3-4 years of experience in Analog circuit block design such as Bandgap, LDOs, Biasing structure, trimming, op-amps, charge pump, feedback loop compensation techniques, and other common basic blocks.
Some power-IC design experience is widely considered positive. The ability to work collaboratively in a team with analog, digital, and verification designers, as well as other roles in the development process. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to listen, learn, and actively participate in team activities. Good organizational skills and a strong attitude to meet project deadlines. A strong motivation for professional growth. Minimum qualifications:Master's degree in electronic engineering or a related field like physics electronics. Large experience in using Cadence platform tool for semiconductor design. 3-4 years of experience as an Analog designer across all the involved roles in this job. #LI-CC1For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.
