We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join the Xenon Small Cap Private Equity team.

Xenon Small Cap is focused on Italian tech-enabled and knowledge-based B2B service businesses.

In Q4 2025, Xenon Small Cap is expected to close Xenon Small Cap II where the candidate will be working on. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a genuine interest in tech-enabled B2B service businesses.

As a Senior Analyst, the candidate will be responsible for trial balances' reclassification, financial modeling, market research, due diligence, and investment memos preparation.

The candidate will work closely with senior team members to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, monitor portfolio companies, and assist in the execution of investment strategies.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial statements, business acumen, valuation techniques, and industry trends.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work under pressure and a proactive approach to problem-solving. RequirementsMaster's degree with honors from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in either private equity, investment banking, or transaction services in a Big Four. Strong LBO financial modeling skills. Excellent mastery of trial balances reclassification and valuation techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with project management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Experience with financial databases such as Cerved, AIDA, etc. Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct thorough due diligence. Experience in preparing investment memos and presentations. Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry contacts. Experience in monitoring and reporting on portfolio performance. Willingness to travel in Italy as needed. ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed financial analysis and modeling. Perform market research and industry analysis.
