Our Financial Operations team is looking for a proactive, customer and detail-oriented Finance Analyst whose main responsibility will be to manage and resolve receivables and payment-related queries received from our business customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cash collection operations in cooperation with our local sales and finance management.

As part of our commitment to your development, you will also gain exposure in cross-functional and process improvement projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing customer liabilities to Amazon - credit collection operationsReviewing and monitoring AR Aging Reports and collections targetsActing as support and an intermediate between the customer and Amazon Business to obtain and settle third-party invoicesResponding to customer invoicing inquiries, researching unpaid or disputed amounts, and communicating directly with the customer via emails and phone calls to resolve issues, correct invoicing errors, and ensure timely collection of paymentsReconciling Amazon's open receivables with customers to ensure quick and timely AR collectionWorking effectively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure we serve our customers in the most effective manner, especially for customers facing cash flow or internal issuesEarning the trust of external and internal stakeholders/customers, building long-lasting relationships that reinforce Amazon's customer centricity, and continually looking for ways to improve customer experience and satisfactionWorking with Amazon customers to drive process improvements and resolve escalations and discrepanciesDiagnosing, improving, and fixing any issues with our current collections processesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSFluent in German and EnglishVery good communication and analytical skillsPositive attitude towards issue resolutionGood MS Office skillsCommunicative, willing, and able to sort issues and financial data interchange through phone and emailAble to present in front of different audiencesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious Accounts Receivable, Customer Care, or other customer-facing department experiencePrevious experience working with remote or hybrid teamsFinance background or prior experience with finance is an advantageAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
