Location : Milan, Via Eritrea n. 21 20157 (Palazzo Tecniche Nuove) or Dachauer Strasse 17, 80335 Munich Full Time : Monday - Friday | 09:00 - 18:00 | 1-hour lunch break Modality of Work : Hybrid or Remote Start Date : 3rd February 2025 Offered Salary (gross): 70-80K Trial Period : 60 working days (3 months) in Italy, 6 months in Germany The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend & DevOps Engineer.

You will have the chance to apply your extensive expertise to design and build innovative solutions that redefine standards in the healthcare tech space.

Requirements Experience:  Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Ansible:  Proficient in using Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Cloud Platforms:  Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with IaC tools.

Linux:  Expertise in Linux system administration and shell scripting.

Web Hosting:  Experience configuring and managing Apache, Nginx, and HAProxy for web hosting and load balancing.

Monitoring:  Proficient in using monitoring tools like Nagios, Icinga and Grafana to ensure system health and preemptively address issues.

Performance Monitoring:  Experience with New Relic for application performance monitoring and optimization.

Networking:  Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing) in secure, scalable environments.

Development:  Strong PHP development skills preferably with Symfony or Laravel fraworks.

Database Management:  Strong experience with MySQL, including design, optimization, and management.

Security:  Awareness of security best practices, particularly when handling sensitive healthcare data.

Problem-Solving:  Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and applications.

Communication:  Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications: Competence in front-end technologies and a willingness to contribute actively to front-end tasks.
