Location: Firenze, Italy (Hybrid)
Responsibilities: Manage the whole lifecycle of a bid from a technical point of view in the following areas:Communication Systems (IP Networking, Network Security, PABX and VoIP, WLAN, GSM-R, LTE, FRMCS, Structured Cabling, etc. )Passenger Mobility Systems (Public Information Displays, Public Address Systems, Video Broadcasting Systems, etc. )Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Digital Video and Voice recording, Fire Protection Systems, etc. )SCADA/OCC SystemsAnalyze contractual and system requirements, derive subsystem requirements, and build the system architecture based on the analysis. Responsible for all technical activities: identifying and analyzing requirements, defining the architecture, allocating requirements, defining interfaces, and developing solutions. Ensure conformity with requirements, quality, and performance relevant to the Engineering work package. Propose technical solutions and ensure requirements management and allocation to subsystems/components. Coordinate and communicate among various players in technical activities. Act as the main technical interface for subsystems. Participate in Bid Meetings (internal and external) when scheduled and/or requested. Compile reports concerning roles and responsibilities according to internal reporting procedures. Coordinate and control different Vendors, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Subcontractors. Apply Quality and HSE procedures and instructions correctly. Allocate and coordinate human and physical resources in the team (if any). Review the technical Scope of Work and keep the scope baseline updated, informing the Bid Manager and Solution Engineering Manager. Support and contribute to technical bid activities. Contribute to the delivery of outcomes/artefacts required by Bids. Coordinate with Purchasing Department for technical content of RFQ, offers evaluation, and supplier selection. Support the Purchasing Department in defining subcontracts and standard clauses for Sub Contract Agreements and Purchase Orders. Skills and Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the technical management of Telecom Subsystems relevant to complex integrated Bids/projects in the Transportation Domain (Railways, Metro, Tramways, Tunnels, Urban Security, etc. ). Technical knowledge of main technologies and subsystems used to implement IT, Telecom, and Security services. Knowledge of design and integration of complex multiservice wired and wireless telecommunication networks. Experience in designing and integrating security systems, passenger information systems, and related technologies. Familiarity with EMI/EMC standards, Railway Standards, and design/integration of LV/MV Power Supply Systems. Capability of managing relationships with other departments, customers, and suppliers.
