Senior Business Development Manager - AI ProductsAre you a business development professional with a background in AI product selling that is looking for a new role in a high growth scaling Milan based team?
At European Tech Recruit we are working along side a high growth startup, helping them to bring on board a business development manager.
The team are developing a compute platform for high performance computing with a software utilizing real-time telemetry and intelligent algorithms to optimize performance, power efficiency, and scalability dynamically for HPC and AI workloads.
Responsibilities: Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing six- and seven-figure new logo deals within an assigned territory. Driving new business generation by developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth and sales targets. Establishing strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support business objectives. Analyzing sales performance data and implementing strategies for continuous improvement. Tracking market trends and conducting regular competitor analysis to inform sales approaches. Partnering with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with customer needs and product offerings. Delivering advanced solution presentations tailored to identified customer needs, effectively showcasing the company's products and services. Highlighting Multiverse Computing's competitive advantages and positioning its solutions as superior to alternatives. Coordinating technical support for demos, proof of concepts (PoCs), evaluations, training, and other customer engagements. Collaborating with team members to develop compelling proposals, quotations, and value propositions for current and prospective clients. Qualifications: M. Sc.
or equivalent degree in sciences, engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of business development experience in selling engineering or technology applications, with a strong track record of exceeding sales quotas. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Marketing, Product Management, etc.
). Strong ability to coordinate and collaborate with teams across multiple global locations. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and deliver optimal solutions for customers. Native Italian speaker with excellent proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Preferred Qualifications A combination of a Science/Engineering degree and an MBA. Experience managing cross-functional teams.
