We are partnered with a fast-growing deep-tech company, who are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team in Milan.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships.

You will be working alongside world-class experts, tackling real-world challenges, and contributing to a dynamic and diverse work environment that values sustainability and inclusivity.

Responsibilities Lead new sales generation, developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Source and close six- and seven-figure new business deals within the assigned territory.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.

Analyze sales performance data and implement strategies for improvement.

Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with customer needs.

Deliver advanced solution presentations, demonstrating the value of the company's products.

Coordinate technical support for demos, PoCs, evaluations, and training.

Develop clear, compelling proposals and value propositions for potential customers.

Required Qualifications M. Sc.

or degree in sciences, engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of business development experience in selling engineering/technology applications.

Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing high-value deals (€7+ million).

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience working with cross-functional teams across global locations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Fluent in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus).

Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications A combination of a Science/Engineering degree and an MBA.

Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
