Senior Commercial Manager
As the Senior Commercial Manager within the Jenbacher Gas Engines Commercial Team Italy, the role is to support the regional New Units and Services Sales teams with the elaboration of complex technical and commercial proposals, and to participate in the negotiation of such proposals. You will have an important contribution to the order intake in the assigned territory by adhering to the risk management process and have a close information exchange with the Sales Region Leaders NU and Services Sales.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Tender preparation and management in close cooperation with the relevant Sales teams
Create and manage commercial contracts and technical specifications with support of relevant software
Perform technical calculations with support of various applications (e. g. calculation of gas analysis, engine efficiency, etc. )
Own deals through the risk management process (e. g. present deals in deal reviews)
Initiate / participate / lead "risk reviews" (incl. "SEDRMs")
Elaborate technical and commercial special release documents for project specific changes deviating from our standard product program
Support of the sales and commercial teams on quotes
Independent creation of quotes for complex projects/BOP
Create project specific offers / calculations / configurations / handover to production, etc. with the support of ERP system
Prepare project specific sales contracts and relevant documents (calculations, specifications, …)
Independent technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers and customers
Your Profile:
min. 5+ years of commercial and engineering experience in the relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engine industry
Engineering degree (Electrical or Mechanical) and/or Commercial degree
Fluent Italian and English (oral + written), further language beneficial
Experience in elaborating complex technical and/or commercial tasks - interdisciplinary thinking/acting
Used to work in process oriented environment
Capability to support and train regional teams
Detail oriented, precise working style
Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization
Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to travel in the assigned territory (30 %)
