Our ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Economics, Law, or Management Engineering (or similar fields) and has 2-3 years of professional experience (Senior Consultant), preferably in consulting firms, law firms, or banking/financial/insurance intermediaries, within one or more of the following areas:Anti-Financial Crime Governance, Compliance, and Business Process Improvement Internal AuditAs aSenior Consultant, you will work in a team, leading junior resources and reporting to Managers & Above.

Depending on the area of expertise, you will be involved in the following activities:1) Governance, Compliance & Business Process ImprovementAnalyzing theregulatory frameworkrelevant to banks, financial intermediaries, and insurance companies, including: Internal Governance & Risk Culture, Conduct Risk, Legislative Decree 231/2001, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ISO 37001:2016), Anti-Fraud, Antitrust, Whistleblowing, Corporate Bodies Assessment, DORA & ICT Compliance, ESG, Tax Control Framework, MiFID II, IDD, Product Oversight Governance, Transparency & Usury, Conflicts of Interest, Market Abuse, PSD II Conductingcompliance activities, includingimpact analysis, gap analysis, remediation plans, risk assessments, and regulatory audits Designing, improving, and implementing control frameworks, including: Corporate Defense Models (Legislative Decree 231/2001), Anti-Bribery & Corruption Programs, Quality Assessment Reviews (QARs) for Internal Control Systems Reviewinginternal processes and procedurestoensure compliance and enhance efficiency, also throughtechnological solutions SupportingSupervisory Bodies, Audit Committees, and other Corporate Bodiesin regulatory compliance activities Reporting to C-Levels, Boards, and Regulatorson project outcomes2) Internal AuditDesigning and conductingaudit reviews and analysesto support theInternal Audit functionof bothlisted and non-listedcompanies Leadingfull outsourcing and co-sourcingaudit engagements Optimizingaudit methodologiesacross all phases of theaudit lifecycle Conductingcompliance auditson key regulations (e. g. , AML, conflicts of interest, remuneration systems, investment processes, asset valuation) PerformingRisk Management audits(e. g. , SREP, SRB, RAF, ICAAP, ILAAP), ICT audits(e. g. , GDPR, DORA, Cybersecurity), andESG audits LeadingQuality Assurance Reviews (QARs)ofInternal Audit functions Supportingregulatory inspectionsandremediation plan monitoring Developinginternal control models and compliance systems(e. g. , 231, 262, SOX, Tax Control Framework) Conductinginvestigations, fraud risk assessments, and anti-fraud programs Mapping, analyzing, and optimizing business processes Managingproject timelines, milestones, and reporting progressLocation:MilanWhat's next?
