Position DescriptionThe Senior Controller will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to ensure the achievement of the organization's economic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial control, a solid understanding of the renewable energy sector, and a proven ability to contribute strategically to business growth.

Main ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Conduct detailed financial analyses, identifying trends, variances, and risks to support strategic decisions. Reporting:Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, to management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations. Cost Control and Optimization:Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Oversee financial performance of renewable energy projects, including CAPEX and OPEX management. Strategic Support:Collaborate with project managers, operations, and other departments to align financial planning with business goals. Provide financial insights and recommendations for new investments, partnerships, and market opportunities. Risk Management and Compliance:Ensure financial controls and procedures are implemented to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal and external audits. Stay updated on industry-specific regulations and their financial implications. Team Leadership:Mentor and guide the control team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Encourage cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial processes and systems. RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. Professional certifications (e. g. , CPA, CMA, CFA) are highly valued. Experience:Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial control, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industries. Proven experience in control, especially in industries with high CAPEX investments. Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is essential). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels. Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus. Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with financing models, subsidies, and regulations in the renewable energy sector.
