We are currently seeking an experienced Controlling Manager to join the team and lead the planning and controlling tasks for the company's business in Western Europe and Latin America.

Overall ObjectiveThe Senior Controlling Specialist will be responsible for leading the Controlling Department of the company, overseeing the planning and controlling activities for the Legal Entity and its markets, with a turnover of 100 million euros annually.

This position will act as a key financial support to the responsible business managers and will require strong leadership and strategic thinking to guide the team and influence business decisions. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Controlling Team based in Barcelona, consisting of 2 professionals. Support the month-end closing process in coordination with the Accounting Shared Service Center (SSC). Coordinate the planning processes (Budget, Revised, Pre-Close, Monthly Reforecast), analyze and explain deviations versus targets. Act as a key reference for business innovation projects, both finance and non-finance related, within the Controlling Team. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the business through reports and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement. Conduct financial analysis and prepare presentations as required by the business or proactively proposing relevant insights. Work closely with various stakeholders, including the Managing Director for WE Europe & Latam, Marketing Managers, and other Functional Heads (Media, Product Development). Geographical scope includes Western Europe (France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal) and Latin America (Argentina, Mexico). At least 5 years of experience in a controlling department, preferably in a product-based company. Solid understanding of basic Controlling techniques (variance analysis, cost centers accounting, management P&L, profitability ratios). Strong numerical aptitude and ability to analyze and interpret large sets of data. Proficiency in English; Spanish knowledge is a plus. Proven experience in leading and managing teams. Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective. Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment and be proactive. Willingness to travel to Barcelona as required.
