In this role, you will:Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from reviewing initial documentation to analysis and reportingManage the change management process by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing cost-related changesAnalyze tenders and bids to ensure client value for moneyAssist in preparing and agreeing on final accounts, including handling claims to ensure the best value for works undertakenDevelop estimates and cost plans for key client developmentsOversee project expenditures by preparing valuations and cost reports, clearly communicating variations to your teamSupport agile project management with excellent cost documentation and timely communicationAssist in resolving construction disputes and managing loss and expense claims transparentlyFoster team performance and growth through strong mentorship and leadershipWe would love to hear from you if you:Have previous experience as a Cost Consultant, ideally within a consultancy environmentAre experienced in pre-contract cost management, including budget control, cost planning, and initiating change forms with project stakeholdersAre knowledgeable about alternative construction materials and methodsAre chartered or on the path toward chartership (support will be provided)Hold a degree or have equivalent experience in project management or a construction-related disciplineHave excellent verbal and written communication skillsThrive in a dynamic environment, managing your own priorities and deadlines effectivelyBuild strong relationships with your team and clients, fostering openness, trust, and collaborationThis is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional looking to advance their career in an exciting and supportive environment.
