In this role, you will: - Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from reviewing initial documentation to analysis and reporting - Manage the change management process by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing cost-related changes - Analyze tenders and bids to ensure client value for money - Assist in preparing and agreeing on final accounts, including handling claims to ensure the best value for works undertaken - Develop estimates and cost plans for key client developments - Oversee project expenditures by preparing valuations and cost reports, clearly communicating variations to your team - Support agile project management with excellent cost documentation and timely communication - Assist in resolving construction disputes and managing loss and expense claims transparently - Foster team performance and growth through strong mentorship and leadership We would love to hear from you if you: - Have previous experience as a Cost Consultant, ideally within a consultancy environment - Are experienced in pre-contract cost management, including budget control, cost planning, and initiating change forms with project stakeholders - Are knowledgeable about alternative construction materials and methods - Are chartered or on the path toward chartership (support will be provided) - Hold a degree or have equivalent experience in project management or a construction-related discipline - Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Thrive in a dynamic environment, managing your own priorities and deadlines effectively - Build strong relationships with your team and clients, fostering openness, trust, and collaboration This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional looking to advance their career in an exciting and supportive environment.
