Our client, a leading Multinational Company in the Retail & Wholesale Industry, is currently looking for a:Senior Data Analyst – Internal AuditWho will report to the Internal Audit IT Senior Manager. Primary responsibilities include developing and delivering analytics during audit engagements per the defined strategy. This role entails implementing key risk indicators across all stages of the audit lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on their design, development, and implementation. Areas of responsibility:Development of Data Analytics tools: Co-drive the development and integration of Data Analytics across all facets of the Internal Audit methodology in collaboration with the Internal Audit team, generating innovative ideas, and experimenting with new technologies. Develop and maintain continuous monitoring for Internal Audit and other stakeholders. Enhance reporting by incorporating relevant data profiling and visualizations. Identify and implement new Artificial Intelligence solutions and emerging technologies within the data analytics strategyProvision of analysis to Operational Audit teams: Drive the integration of data analytics into all Internal Audit project phases. Deliver accurate key risk indicators and data analytics dashboards to enhance the audit process. Assist and train operational auditors in effectively utilizing data analytics during their audit activitiesRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Data Science or equivalent Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control or Risk Management, specifically focusing on Data Analytics. Professional certifications in Data Analytics or Data Science are a plusExperience in consultancy firm or a large organisation is requiredSignificant experience developing and executing data-driven audit projects and analyzing complex data sets. Strong expertise in the complete data analytics cycle, including data gathering, transformation, modeling, analytic execution, visualization, and reportingExtensive proven experience with data analytics tools (e. g. , Alteryx, ACL) is mandatory. Familiarity with scripting/programming for data modeling and ETL development (e. g. , Python, SQL, R, SAS)Solid experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e. g. , SAP Business Object, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Qlik View)Solid knowledge of SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA is mandatory. Knowledge of other ERPs (e. g. , MS Dynamics 365, Oracle) is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Visual Basic for Applications) and Office Suite is mandatoryEffective communication, strong problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to simplify and dealing with senior business managementEnglish and Italian fluent.
