Senior Data Engineer

Your ImpactAs a Senior Data Engineer , reporting directly to the Group Data & Analytics Manager, you will be a key part of a talented and successful Data&Analytics department that works together to drive and optimize performance, storing and constantly retrieving, visualizing, and analyzing large amounts of data.
A few examples of your responsibilities:Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and building out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity, implementing spark, sparkSQL, and ANSI SQL jobsDriving Automation through effective metadata management: using innovative and modern tools, techniques and architectures to automate the most common, repeatable, and tedious data preparation and integration tasksCollaborating with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed BI tools, increasing data accessibility. Implementing processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes. Writing unit/integration tests , contributes to engineering wiki, and documents workPerforming data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issuesDesigning data integrations and data quality framework to ensure that each tool produces the data needed for analysisParticipating in ensuring compliance and governance during data use by applying what is required by law or internal policyWhat we OfferMake a difference: you'll make a huge contribution to the growth of Growens.
