Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you, as a talented Data Platform Architect, to help us in our mission by enabling our employees to manage, extract and analyse operational and engineering data in an industrial production environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesIn your capacity as a Data Platform Architect, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

Deploy and maintain the cloud infrastructure needed to operate a data analytics platform.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process and analyse operational and application data.

Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights into system performance, deployment efficiency, and incident trends.

Monitor and optimise the performance of data systems and ensure low-latency access to analytics.

Work with the DevOps team to integrate analytics into CI/CD pipelines and incident management systems.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all analytics processes.

What we would love to see from youIn the role of a Data Platform Architect, ideally, you will have the following:

5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related role.

Experience with cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure.

Proven track record of building and maintaining data pipelines and analytics tools.

Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

Proficiency with data analytics tools and frameworks (e. g. , Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Dagster).

Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
