This technology delivers significant cost savings for wind park operators. Description Now the company is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join its core team

Tasks: play a pivotal role in addressing complex challenges aligned with the company's mission to deliver high-performing renewable energy forecasts Must-have: Proven ability to develop and deploy machine learning models based on state-of-the-art research In-depth knowledge of advanced algorithms and their real-world applications Hands-on experience in production environments with: deep learning frameworks, especially PyTorch, time-series forecasting and computer vision tasks, geospatial tools (Python) (e. g. , xarray, dask, ZARR experience is a strong advantage) Advanced proficiency in Python with a strong grasp of software development best practices Expertise in big data tools and platforms, such as Delta Lake and Databricks Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure Exceptional ability to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members Strong interpersonal skills to thrive in distributed and collaborative teams An innovative mindset with a passion for creating impactful solutions Nice-to-have: Probabilistic modeling Familiarity with tensorial data tools (e. g. , ZARR stack, Icechunk, TileDB) Benefits and conditions: Trial period: 4 months Full remote working with a base in Italy or Tallinn, Estonia A truly international team of highly experienced tech professionals ESOP (Employee Stock Option) participation as part of the remuneration package An opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy forecasting projects with a direct impact on global sustainability goals A collaborative and dynamic environment, where innovation and technical excellence drive success Continuous professional growth and mentorship, contributing to high-impact initiatives in the renewable energy sector Interview process: Intro call with Toughbyte Introduction meeting with CTO or the CEO A deeper technical interview with either the CTO or the other DS lead A final contractual step with the CEO leading to an offer #J-18808-Ljbffr
