What you'll be doing. . . You'll be responsible for the in-house research and development of strategic data products. It will use and advance state-of-the-art ML/AI techniques to analyze our massive datasets and come up with innovative solutions to make our products smarter. A strong technical background is expected, and successful applicants will also exhibit leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities: Work with company stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Collect, analyze, cleanse, and verify data sets, enriching them with third party sources when needed. Gain deep knowledge about the connected vehicles domain to be able to independently identify and select discriminative features in our data. Apply state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques to company data and customize them to reach target production performance objectives. Develop production-ready code to release machine learning models validated by research results in production environments. Support other teams on selected projects with training or ad-hoc analysis. Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends and contribute to key innovation initiatives. Publish and patent innovative technology, write research papers, and present to scientific conferences or technology events. What we're looking for. . . You have strong analytical skills, and are eager to work in a collaborative environment with global teams to drive ML application in business problems, develop end to end analytical solutions and communicate insights and findings to leadership. You work independently and are always willing to learn new technologies. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to interact with various partners and multi-functional teams to implement data science driven business solutions.

You'll need to have: PhD in Computer Science or another technical subject. Scientific research experience related to the field of Machine Learning. Excellent technical skills with programming in Python or other common language. Excellent problem-solving and algorithmic design skills. Familiar with Unix/Linux environments. Familiar with scientific research, able to read an advanced scientific paper and extract the main ideas. Ability to execute research challenges, from problem definition to implementation and dissemination. Excellent communications skills to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical). Results oriented with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery. Fluent in English. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Proven experience in Machine Learning model design and validation on real-world data. Advanced knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as Pytorch. Familiar with agile software development methodologies and tools. Experience with the AWS stack. Experience with data analysis tools.
