Senior Data Scientist - Relocation to Ispra For a European organization in Ispra, Italy, we are urgently looking for a Senior Data Scientist.

EU candidates are welcome to apply.

Candidates need to be based in Ispra or willing to relocate to Ispra and work at least 2 days/week in the Ispra office.

Work permit is not provided.

Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities: Collect business requirements and develop advanced data mining solutions or identify, assess and deploy relevant existing data mining, machine learning and business intelligence solutions; Specification and design of presentation interfaces with optimal usability/user experience; Identify, collect, convert and update different data types/sets in several locations (e. g.

ETL); Produce data models according to specific problem statements; Scripting and programming; Contribute to the design and implementation of the analytics architecture and its solution stack (including performance aspects, physical design, capacity dimensions etc.

); Write the different documentation associated with the tasks and liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies; Profile: Master's degree in IT; 5+ years of professional experience; Proficiency in Python 3 libraries for data management and AI (including, but not limited to, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Keras, and TensorFlow); Expertise with relational databases (e. g.

Oracle DBMS, PostgreSQL or MySQL); Great understanding of NoSQL databases (e. g.

ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Apache Solr); Experience with Graph Databases or TripleStore Databases (such as Neo4j or OpenLink Virtuoso); Competence in data modeling and performance tuning for analytical queries; Interested: Please send your CV to ******.
