Development Department The Development team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way. The team also manages Vantage's build partners to success through technical feedback and review, and actively participates in review of schedule and budget. Our Development Teams are given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process, ensuring that key stakeholders are engaged in decision-making to align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics. Position Description Vantage is looking for an ambitious Senior Project Manager to drive excellence in project management, systems use, standardisation, and coordination efforts across a wide spectrum of ongoing construction projects. Must be able to foster a positive and collaborative working environment. This role is based in Milan. Essential Job Functions Establish communication procedures between the Vantage team, consultant team, and Contractors. Establish and manage the Change Management Process for the project. Manage key project processes to ensure delivery and monitor these processes. Regularly update the Project Risk Register and manage Risk Mitigation Plans. Prepare monthly Project Manager's CSA & MEP report and weekly status updates. Monitor performance of the consultant team, Contractor, and vendors. Coordinate preparation of viability studies, feasibility studies, and drive implementation. Support discussions with neighbours and third parties regarding logistics and schedules. Review General Contractor's plans and make recommendations. Establish quality management procedures and drive review and approval processes. Advise on methods of progressing construction works prior to contract execution. Monitor procurement progress and mitigate challenges. Assess labour schedules and request diagrams for analysis. Lead teams for Value Engineering exercises and related studies. Ensure compliance with Vantage HSE requirements and conduct regular site walks. Conduct site inspections and drive required mitigation measures. Agree on test certificates and approvals required from the Professional Team and Contractor. Manage reports on implications of proposed variations and anticipated delays. Prepare and manage a handover plan identifying roles and responsibilities. Lead and manage the preparation of documentation for Substantial/Practical Completion. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Construction/Engineering or equivalent experience. 8 years of experience in project management in the construction industry. Expected travel is approx. 10%, but may grow and evolve over time. English language mandatory, Italian preferred, at least B-Level.
