Linum Consult's client is an international main contractor, specialising in the construction of large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Senior Design & Estimation Manager with a background in complex EPC construction, to join their tendering department in Milan. RESPONSIBILITIES Overseeing and ensuring competitiveness of submitted tenders Verifying that the technical design of the project matches the contract requirements Optimising designs and making the best use of the supply chain Ensuring the proper application of best practices and the correct use of design and cost estimation tools Assisting the Business Development Director with the presentation of tenders PROFILE Master's degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent Around 5-10 years' proven experience in tendering and estimations Ability to translate client requirements during project development Excellent ability to independently carry out the design and cost estimation of a project Previous experience working on large and complex commercial and industrial building projects Fluency in Italian and English is essential APPLICATION PROCESS If you fulfil the minimum requirements stipulated by our client and are confidentially interested in applying, then please drop Linum Consult a line with a copy of your CV and contact details to europelinumconsult.com for the attention of Neill Donald.
