Electrical components / Fuse / Fuse Blocks Our client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer-Automotive, Degree in engineering, mechanical or electrical design with experience in engineering design with knowledge on component and system levels within the automotive industry (Tier1/Tier2).

His/her tasks will include:

Conducting technical requirements analysis and identifying key product specifications based on market/customer requirements

Overseeing all aspects of NPD projects to ensure completion within expected specifications and time Importante Azienda

Independently designing, developing, and modifying fuse products and associated technologies

Directing innovative development of solutions to complex technical problems where no precedent might exist

Identifying and driving fuse designs that can properly fit with Company PCP products (existing/new concept into the funnel) and Tier 1s / OEM's expectations

Developing 3D models and prototypes to establish feasibility of pre-development concepts

Conducting and coordinating thermal, mechanical, and dimensional analyses and simulations preparing reports, technical specifications, engineering drawings, and leading project and design review

Support validation matrix/plan definition (pre-Importante Azienda, Importante Azienda, PV phase) Importante Azienda the RFQ and the NPDphases.

Be responsible for driving and implementing compliance of manufacturing and production processes

**Requirements**:

Degree in engineering field, mechanical or electrical design field

Proven experience in engineering design with knowledge on component and also system levels within the automotive industry ( Tier1 or Tier2 )

Excellent 3D Modelling skills using common CAD systems (Creo, COMSOL, Unigraphics NX, Catia)

Advanced technical skills using or analysing data generated by common simulation software tools (Ansys, and problem-solving skills)

Experience on working with international company and knowledge on standards and testing methods, electrical system design cycles and procedures

Prototype built coordination and assessments experience, design for Reliability experiences, e. g.

DFMEA/PFMEA

Experienced in stablished standards incl.

new requirements from ISO 26262; FIT Rate

Very good materials (plastic & metal) and Advanced Product Quality Planning procedure knowledge

Automotive OEM's and/or Tier 1 customer interface experience required

High level of verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English
