MECTRON SPA, a leading designer and manufacturer of medical and dental equipment is looking for, Senior Electrical Engineer - Hardware (HW) and Firmware (FW) DeveloperReporting to the team leader, PM, Department manager he/she has resposnability in his techincal functions to advance exiting technology or introduce new technology or introduce best working practice respect to the current working method. The resource will be in charge of:Reaserch, design development and testing of electrical component such as equipment and components of a complex system, both for commercial and for internal company useFirmware development and testing: he/she gets the requirments of the expected behavior of the embedded software, and he/she analyzes the possible solutionsAnalysis for the design of complex section of the firmware/softwareEstimation of the effort required for completing the technical tasks, support less experienced team member on the task effort estimationDocumentation about the technical tasks and technical analysisVerification of the job done by less experienced colleaguesManagement of the project on his job areaRequirements:Established experience in the use of Altium DesignerExpertise in firmware development in C/C++ for PIC, ARM and ESP32Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVNOptional knowledge of tools such as LabVIEW and SimulinkExcellent problem solving skills and initiativeExperience in planning and managing development team activities using Microsoft ProjectAbility to draft technical documents (analysis, reporting, etc.

)Ability to lead and manage a technical teamPreferable experience in the medical or automotive sectors with knowledge of relevant regulationsEducational requirementsSecondary education and 10 years of relevant experienceBaccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experienceAdvanced degree with 5 years of experienceSalary package:Open-ended contract with fixed plus variable remuneration
