Mission:This role focuses on engineering consultancy and design of MV/HV electrical systems concerning power generation and industrial facilities grid connection. Key Accountabilities:Develop plans and make calculations for a variety of elements within an engineering project, draw blueprints and electrical diagrams. Coordinate direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites to take measurements. Lead direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications and submitting documentation to officials. Coordinate and communicate projects group as needed on major projects in the Business Units. Responsible for the production and performance of assigned projects. Establish working relationships with operations management to facilitate coordination and execution of project work. Assist the PM during project execution, including resource allocation and assessment of man-hours required. Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the projects. Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule. Participate in and lead risk assessments and actively manage project risks. Prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans. Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS. Answer contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer. Education:Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering. Qualifications:Mandatory: at least 8 years of experience in electrical system design for power generation plants (conventional/renewables) and/or HV/MV electrical systems. Good Knowledge of AutoCAD and power system study software (ETAP/DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Neplan or similar). Knowledge of DIALux (or analogous lighting calculation software) and/or DEHN Risk Tool will be considered a plus. Good level of English both written and spoken.
