As a Project Manager at Jensen Hughes, you will be an integral part of a dynamic technical team, working with our experienced Engineers alongside other teams you will work on the industries leading technical projects.

Responsibilities In this role you will both manage the project and lead the project technically, managing all aspects related to fire risk.
Manage external client and stakeholders, as well as internal staff to complete work on-time and within budget, including interfacing with teams working on other programs/projects in the location.
Coordinate design and construction activities with the clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Oversee interdisciplinary teams and provide review and guidance to project team during development of project deliverables.
Taking control of current and future projects and ensuring that financial targets of the team are met and exceeded, develop existing relationships with key clients and deliver fire safety engineering solutions.
Drive behind the delivery of technical excellence, team engagement, and the go-to in developing their key clients in this discipline.
Be the expert to our clients and become the all-important first point of call Lead discussion with design team, building control and fire service.
Attend industry conferences to network and embrace industry trends and best practices.
Supervise and train graduate engineers.
Application of national and international legislation and standards on Fire and Life Safety in the various areas of corporate interest (civil, commercial and industrial) Project Review, Codes Consultancy.
Field inspections (Europe).
Advice and promotion of fire safety science.
Application of risk analysis models.
Requirements and Qualifications A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environment, with a specific focus on fire protection systems design.
A bachelor's degree or higher within any engineering specialties, e. g.
civil, mechanical, environmental, chemical.
The ability to undertake works independently.
The ability and experience mentoring and managing junior professionals.
Italian language fluency, written and spoken is essential.
Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken is desired.
Willingness to make short but frequent national and European trips (at full capacity, 2-3 days every 1-2 weeks).
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and AUTOCAD/BIM.
Passion for the study of scientific subjects.
The possession of registration on the lists of the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to Law 818/84 is not mandatory but will be considered as a preferential skill.
The profile is completed by proactivity, operational autonomy, empathy and aptitude for contact with the customer.
