Job Description We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Remediation Engineer with specific experiences in Project Management, design, installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems for contaminated soil & groundwater.

The appointed person will be expected to have a key role in the team, with the below responsibilities:

Managing and developing remediation proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects, associated regulation and staffing requirementsConducting remedial alternatives analysisOverseeing project budget and costs-benefit analysesCoordinating and appointing subcontractorsEnsuring all parties meet compliance with environmental regulationsTraining staff on how to use and implement remediation systemsBuilding sustainable relationships in order to meet our business development goalsContributing to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the businessApplying and encouraging a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all timesEnsuring effective communication with the project team and clientsWe are particularly looking for candidates with the following: 5+ years of related experience, with a multinational company is preferredFluency in Italian and EnglishTechnically skilled to perform process-oriented and sampling tasksDemonstrable ability to keep up to date with latest legislation and compliance requirementsFlexible approach and ability to change direction when requiredMotivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with the initiative to complete tasksExcellent planning, organizational skills and be a time managerReasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visitsOpen and honestA background in Industry is advantageous, as experience in the Consulting sectorLicensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential)What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits (hybrid working, voucher meals, welfare program, wellbeing benefit, health insurance, laptop, smartphone)Central Milan office locationFlexible work options for work-life balancePublic transport allowanceA culture of equity, diversity, and inclusionOpportunities for career growth and developmentEmbrace your uniqueness and join the AECOM team!
