Senior Esg Analyst
The ESG team is looking for a highly motivated ESG Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new ESG products and support the maintenance of our current product portfolio. This role requires a blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to staying current with regulatory developments in ESG.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain ESG assessment and rating methodologies. Contribute to the development and execution of new ESG product ideas. Conduct Second Party Opinions, ensuring thorough and objective analysis. Write and edit promotional, educational, and research documents on a range of ESG topics. Represent Scope ESG analytical solutions at client meetings, conferences, seminars, and panel discussions. Monitor research and regulatory developments in sustainability, including CSRD, SFDR, IFRS, GRI, and the EU Taxonomy. Conduct thorough sustainability, climate risk, and impact analysis. Analyze sustainability data and trends to develop future products. Responsible for ESG data for Scope Group's CSRD reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements:4+ years of experience in ESG analysis, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or related fields. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, environmental science, business administration, sustainability, economics, or related field. Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Strong understanding of ESG issues with a double-materiality perspective. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and maintain robust ESG methodologies. Strong understanding of ESG regulations such as CSRD, SFDR, EU Green Bond Standard, and ESG ratings. Highly reliable, detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently as a self-starter without close supervision. Strong project management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent proficiency in English is a must; other European languages are a plus with a preference for French.
