The Senior Ethics & Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's compliance programs align with applicable regulations and ethical standards.
This role focuses on areas such as Health Care Professional (HCP) interactions, anti-bribery and anti-corruption measures, and third-party management, making it an integral part of maintaining the company's reputation and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities: HCP Engagement Compliance: Assess annual needs for HCP consulting services.
Oversee HCP qualification, contracting, activity engagement, reporting, and payments.
Administer and provide training on an automated workflow tool for managing HCP interactions.
Funding Request Reviews and Approvals: Evaluate and approve commercial sponsorships, educational grants, and charitable contributions.
Third-Party Compliance: Conduct due diligence for new third-party engagements.
Rescreen existing third parties periodically.
Monitor and audit third-party activities to ensure adherence to ethical practices.
Policy Development and Implementation: Support the development and communication of compliance policies and procedures.
Training and Education: Assist in creating and delivering compliance training programs to employees.
Provide ongoing education to reinforce understanding of compliance requirements.
Monitoring and Reporting: Contribute to a comprehensive monitoring program to detect and prevent compliance violations.
Qualifications: 3+ years of relevant compliance experience.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
Experience in life sciences or medical device compliance preferred.
Familiarity with managing HCP interactions and third-party screening is a plus.
Paralegal experience is advantageous.
Italian native speaker, fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus.
Willingness to travel globally up to 25%.
