Senior Field Application Engineer Rfid
EM Microelectronic is a leading innovator of RFID tag ICs, first to release an EPC Gen2v2-compliant tag-IC and providing a new value proposition with its award-Importante Azienda world-first dual-frequency RAINFC RFID em|echo.
Our RFID Business Unit is looking to strengthen its Field Application Engineering team to support our existing and growing RFID customer base, help our sales team develop new business opportunities and work with the IC design team on product definition of new products and market NPI activities.
Your role will include mainly the following tasks:
Support customers Importante Azienda product evaluation, design-in and production ramp-up, including on-site support when required
Building new and maintaining our strong existing links in the RFID community and customer base
Together with our sales team promote EM products Importante Azienda exhibitions and customer visits
Develop and maintain demonstration, evaluation and starter kits as well as promotional material
Define the IC system architecture together with the ICdesign team
Competitive benchmarking and analysis both through market analysis and hands-on measurements
Exposure to RFID IC architecture and system design would be a plus
Used to work in multicultural, multi-site team environment
Strong autonomy in his field, good communication skills, strong team player
Professional requirements Excellent communication skills, at ease in a customer-facing role
Understanding of RFID systems and communication protocols and a proven track record in a technical customer-facing role desirable
Proficiency in English (oral and written) required, fluency in German strongly desired
Ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team in a constructive and data-driven approach
Languages Proficiency in English (oral and written) required, fluency in German strongly desired
Any other language (mainly french) is welcome
