THE ROLE: The role will provide general finance support to the local management teams and the betting finance team including preparation of financial forecasts, and accurate P&L reporting and associated KPIs.

Reporting into the Italy Finance Director, with a dotted line into the Betting Head of Finance, the role requires a good commercial understanding of the industry, accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.

Please also upload your resume in English, thanks! As our new Senior Finance Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to:

Ensure the delivery of all periodic/ad-hoc reporting and analysis including but not limited to daily trading updates, weekly shareholder reports, monthly market P&L/KPI reports. Ensure that the management accounts are delivered to reporting deadlines and are of a high quality with all key variances to comparatives analysed and communicated. Maintain cost reporting files, including payroll reports and all third-party expenses, ensuring accuracy and a high level of detail. Responsible for cost tracking and cost control across marketing and other opex, with the ability to identify potential cost efficiencies. Ensure group reporting requirements are completed within required deadlines and to a high standard. Production of a weekly cash and working capital management sheet, with explanation of material movements week to week. Work with BI team to consolidate local market metrics into Group structure. Support with financial modelling of revenue streams and marketing cost investments. Ensuring that all queries from internal customers are dealt with effectively. Support the CFO, FD, or FP&AM with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required. Support FP&A with the group budgeting process as required. Review of contracts and preparation of key contract commercials for senior review/signoff. Support external finance supplier(s) compiling requisite information for regulatory reporting. Provide support with the preparation of deliverables for the annual audit and be a key contact for the external auditors during the audit process. Liaise with external accountant being the key focal point for monthly closing and bookkeeping. Liaise with tax and fiscal expert of the company and sync such activities with global tax team. Support the FD and local team in preparation of the board meeting and provide the relevant info to the audit committee. You'll have:

Strong written and spoken English language skills. Experience of budgeting, planning, and forecasting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows). Strong excel skills a must-have. Would suit a part qualified accountant looking to complete their studies (audit experience or qualified accountant). Experience in using accounting and financial reporting packages. Experience using Xero and or PBCS is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and lead effectively at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong technical accounting experience. Well organised with the ability to deal with multiples projects and priorities. Ability to deliver continuously to tight timelines. Resilient self-starter with a can do attitude. Ability to develop and manage relationships effectively across the business. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). About DAZN
