Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer who is motivated to combine the art of UX design with the art of programming.

Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Develop new user-facing featuresBuild reusable code and libraries for future useEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders in an agile team and with agile practicesEvolve Jobrapido's code base to keep state-of-the-art technologyWhat Are the Competencies Qualifications Needed? Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3.

Familiarity with template engines, such as Handlebars, is a plusGood understanding of CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and SASSGood understanding of JavaScript client-side scripting, including XHR, AJAX, and data flow architectures such as flux and reduxGood understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS and ReactJS. Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform adjustments on images.

Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus. Previous experience in unit testing and TDD.
